CHANGE YOUR WELCOME SCREEN

Hi Friends,
             Many of us don't like the welcome page of Windows Operating System(O.S) and some other are like to change that picture or image of their windows o.s and they don't know how to change it.
            But now, it is time to change your welcome page picture or image of your windows o.s.......




Here is the solution friends, to change your welcome page image, for that just the follow the steps ok.....

Step-1:  First you have to do is know about your screen resolution. For that--> Right click on your
                   desktop and select Screen Resolution. then you will know your screen resolution there.
              We have another way also that is just open your internet browser and type this in the address bar
                   and know your screen resolution...http://www.whatismyscreenresolution.com/

Step-2:  Select a picture you like and resize it to your screen resolution... For example 1024*768 and
                   save it as the name of  """backgroundDefault"""  (without inverted commas) ok...

Step-3:  Now the Process begins here....
                      Open your computer > os drive for example C drive > Windows > System32 > oobe
                                                                      (or)
                      Just paste this in your address bar of your window """C:\Windows\System32\oobe"""

Step-4:  Now, create a new folder in that and named it as ""info"" and open this folder and again create
                     a new folder and named it as the """backgrounds""" and open this folder and save your 
                     image or picture you chosen to change your welcome page picture, then close the window...

Step-5:  Now open Run by pressing win key +R and type as """regedit""" as shown below....





Now a window will pop up that is the registry as shown below.....


Step-6:
Now a window of Registry will pop up then select the--> HKEY_LOCAL_MACHINE > SOFTWARE > Microsoft > Windows > CurrentVersion > Authentication > LogonUI > Background
 In that create a new DWORD and name it as """OEMBackground""" and
 open it and set the value of 1. and close the registry...



 Step-7:  It is the time for check what you have done.. Just Restart your computer. or Just lock it then you will find your picture there.....
